Kostadin Kokalanov is a graphic designer and calligrapher from Sofia, Bulgaria, the main focus of his work being branding, logo design, lettering and print media. With a professional background of over ten years, eight of which as an art director in advertising agencies, his work has been awarded both in local and international creative festivals. Since 2014 he has been assisting and mentoring the masters program in calligraphy in the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia. Part of his work was published in the book “Hand to type” by gestalten in 2012.
